IMPORTACIÓN DE PRODUCTOS SILVOAGROPECUARIOS Las importaciones silvoagropecuarias chilenas se caracterizan por concentrarse en productos industriales, destacando las mezclas de aceites, azúcar refinada y preparaciones alimenticias entre los productos agrícolas, junto con productos pecuarios como la carne bovina deshuesada, fresca y refrigerada. El reducido monto de importaciones de productos primarios corresponde casi en su totalidad a productos agrícolas, entre ellos cereales y plátano. En 2018, más del 30% de las importaciones silvoagropecuarias chilenas se concentraron en los rubros de carnes, maíz y oleaginosas, en particular carne de bovino, aceites comestibles y tortas de soya provenientes de los países del Mercosur. Les siguen las importaciones de cerveza de malta y azúcar. Se ha producido gradualmente una diversificación de las importaciones sectoriales, entre las que actualmente se cuentan también las preparaciones para alimentar animales, maderas elaboradas y lácteos, entre otros. Se observa un aumento de las importaciones con mayor valor agregado que incluyen, además de alimentos preparados, bebidas alcohólicas como la cerveza y el ron. IN 2018, MORE THAN 30% OF CHILEAN AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK AND FORESTRY IMPORTS CONSIST OF MEAT, CORN AND OILSEED PRODUCTS. C. AGRICULTURAL, LIVESTOCK AND FORESTRY IMPORTS Chilean agriculture, livestock and forestry imports consist primarily of industrial products, the majority of these being agricultural (in particular oil mixtures, refined sugar and prepared foods), alongside some livestock products such as chilled and fresh boneless beef. The small amount of primary imports consists almost entirely of agricultural products, such as cereals and tropical products such us bananas. Currently, more than 30%of Chilean agriculture, livestock and forestry imports consist of meat, corn and oilseed products, in particular beef, edible oils, and soybean cakes imported from Mercosur countries. These are followed in importance by malt beer and sugar. Over time, imports in the sector have diversified, to include prepared animal feed, processed wood and dairy products. Trade patterns shows an increase imports of higher value added products such as prepared foods, and alcoholic drinks such as beer and rum.
