FRUTAS Y HORTALIZAS PROCESADAS Chile cuenta con un sector agroindustrial que se desarrolla a lo largo de todo el país, concentrándose en la Zona Central entre las regiones de Valparaíso y Maule. Según el último catastro de la agroindustria de año 2011, existen 246 plantas pertenecientes a 196 empresas en el país. De estas, 50 plantas procesan conservas, 85 procesan deshidratados, 47 procesan congelados, 21 plantas procesan jugos y 43 procesan aceites.
