CULTIVOS ANUALES Durante la temporada 2017/2018 la superficie de siembra de cultivos anuales tuvo un leve aumento respecto de la temporada anterior, alcanzando un total de 696.341 hectáreas. Los mayores incrementos en superficie fueron los cultivos de cebada, trigo candeal, arroz, leguminosas, garbanzo y lenteja. Los cultivos que disminuyeron su siembra fueron principalmente avena, papa y poroto. Los cultivos más importantes a nivel nacional continúan siendo el trigo, avena, maíz, raps y arroz, que en conjunto representan el 75% de la superficie total. La superficie sembrada con cultivos anuales se concentra en el sur del país: en la temporada 2017/2018 el 45% de las siembras se realizó en la Región de La Araucanía, el 15% en la Región del Maule y un 12% en cada una de las regiones de Ñuble y Biobío. 696.341 ha SUPERFICIE DE SIEMBRA DE CULTIVOS ANUALES AREA OF ANNUAL CROPS A.
